Dunn AC were instructed by their client to carry out the supply and installation of 4X Reznor high level space heaters, flues and controls to serve the large warehouse area used to store essential supplies.
The heaters that were installed were Reznor UDSA-4E Room Sealed Unit Heaters totalling 260kW of heating.
The heaters replaced aged failed heaters that were safely disconnected, and removed.
Significant lifting plans, safety measures and client cooperation was necessary to allow the removal and lifting of the high level heaters & flues to position. Continuous monitoring was made to ensure that the works did not impact on the continuous and critical work that the client required.
The new installations were completed on time and on budget and full operation and maintenance manuals, test and commissioning certification and user training following the successful completion.
