Dunn AC were instructed by our client to design and install a new extraction air handling system to serve the main kitchen canopy which was using a shared AHU but not effectively.
We worked in conjunction with VES to design the system to allow for additional demand to be added in the future.
The system installed was VES externally mounted T-Line 120 extract fan TLL560/42-3/WH to pass 2.3m 3/s of air against an external resistance of 300Pa.
The T-Line duct mounting unit has a single skinned galvanised sheet metal steal case, fully waterproofed, with a powder coated paint finish in signal grey, together with a motor guard. Horizontal, straight through, met flanged inlet and outlet, with access both sides. The fan has a backwards curved impeller running at 1440RPM at full speed and direct driven by a 3kW, 400V, 3phase, single speed, 4pole motor efficiency rating IE2.
The new installations were completed on time and on budget and full operation and maintenance manuals, test and commissioning certification and user training following the successful completion.
