Dunn AC were instructed by our client to replace the failed comfort cooling air conditioning systems serving the whole branch.
Decommissioning and removal of the old systems was made and 33kW of new split systems were installed. The condensers were located on the roof of the building which also housed a major residential block for students of Queen Mary University which meant careful planning, liaison and cooperation with the client, the university and the residents to allow non-disruptive access to the roof, access through the building and access to risers throughout the building.
The works were completed successfully with the branch, university and residents praising the installation operatives for their consideration and diligence to prevent any disruption.
The new installations was completed on time and on budget and full operation and maintenance manuals, test and commissioning certification and user training following the successful completion.
