The trust approached Dunn AC Limited, as their preferred ICT cooling contractors to carry out a refurbishment of main trusts comms room to replace critical cooling systems within a 'live' environment.
To remove and replace complete critical cooling systems supplying a 'live' comms room.
Temporary portable cooling systems were supplied as back up to avoid any down time of comms equipment while each system was decommissioned and removed individually and replaced to avoid any disruption to the trusts servers.
The new systems installed were 10 Daikin 8.5kW ceiling cassette systems delivering 85kW of cooling with a back up contingency.
Full operation and maintenance manuals were supplied following successful completion.
